Additive Factor Models for Progress Evaluation in Adaptive Courses

The work is aimed at modelling of learning rate in educational setting. Additive Factor Model with individual logarithmic and polynomial learning rate is proposed. On average, this model performs better according to statistical criteria but not accuracy in prediction. The research is performed on the sample of students of the online platform Uchi.ru who play the game called 'Magic math'.
