One of the biggest challenges in agile IT projects is creating and managing requirements to meet expectations and provide a maximum business value to the project customer. This thesis aims to provide a set of approaches that can be used to minimize risks regarding requirements. Not only help the approaches reduce the risk but also do they favour additional factors that help a project to succeed. The research method used is the design science research approach for information systems. The initial set of approaches was created out of a literature review and then evaluated, extended and refined with the knowledge gained from expert interviews. In a final case study it was further researched how the approaches were implemented and if there were additional points that need to be considered.
