The Results of Employment of Dagestan University & Vocational Education Graduates in the Russian Labour Market

The study examines the results of employment of graduates of the Republic of Dagestan universities. Its main purpose is to assess the factors influencing the wages of graduate students and the likelihood of their employment after graduation. The results of the study revealed the main trends and patterns among graduates in Dagestan. It was also found that socio-demographic factors have a significant impact on the amount of wages. The probability of employment is positively influenced by the availability of a diploma with honors, training in technical and pedagogical specialties, the fact of combining studies with work, the level of education received. The study has prospects for further study with a more detailed and expanded sample and a more detailed analysis of the specialties and jobs of graduates.
