Annotation for a Master Thesis with the topic “Subjective well-being of VK social network users in connection with their online privacy”. Author: Ilyina Olesya Dmitrievna, scientific adviser: Koltsova Elena Yurievna. Key words: social network site, privacy concerns, subjective well-being, privacy protection behavior, self-disclosure online The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, a conclusion, list of sources and appendix section. Purpose of the work is to study the impact of privacy concerns on the subjective well-being of users of the social network VK. The introduction describes the course of the study, as well as the relevance of the chosen topic. Part one is a theoretical framework, mentioning the constructs and theories used, as well as sources of theoretical information. The second part, methodological, describes operationalization of theoretical constructs, data collection procedure and the methods of analysis. The third part presents the results of the data analysis, their interpretation and limitations of the study. The conclusion section reports the results of hypothesis testing and future implementations. The work contains 72 pages, 4 tables, 17 graphs, 3 figures, 106 sources and 13 appendices.
