Executive summary:

Graduates of the Master's Programme engage in analysis, management, research, experimentation, consulting and innovative business in the domain of ICT, as well as in the development, implementation and application of ICT and information systems.

Access to further study: Upon receiving the Master's degree, graduates may pursue doctoral studies if desired.

About the academic programme:

The Business Informatics programme focuses on the practical application of technology in business, on creating IT solutions for solving the existing problems in the enterprise. It requires not only forming a business vision and understanding its requirements for IT, but also the ability proactively identify potential opportunities to improve company activities and efficiency with the help of IT.

That is why HSE provides future specialists in business informatics with a multidisciplinary study programme: information technologies, financial management, project management, business processes, economic-mathematical modelling etc.

The Master's programme curriculum together with term papers, internships, research work, seminars and discussions are also meant to help students develop strategic thinkings as well as 'out-of-the-box' approaches that are important when playing an intermediary role between business and technical sides of business.
