2 nd Year MSc Students of Big Data Systems Successfully Completed 6 th DAAAM International Doctoral School

2nd Year MSc Students of Big Data Systems, Alexander Suleykin and Yash Madhwal, successfully completed 6th DAAAM International Doctoral School week, which was held in Zadar, Croatia from 5th November 2017 till 12th November 2017.  Under guidance of Dr. Peter B. Panfilov, they successfully presented and defended their research paper at 28th DAAAM International Symposium.

Alexander and Yash, presented their research work as “The Simulation-Based Smart Management Approach for Cellular Network Operation and Planning” and “Blockchain and Supply Chain Management: Aircrafts’ Parts’ Business Case” respectively. Both students were awarded with FESTO Scholarship and Diploma Certificate, which included 4 ECTS credit points that was signed by Rector of the University of Zadar. Alexander Suleykin received FESTO Price along with Cash reward and Yash Madhwal received award for best Oral Presentation.

DAAAM Week 2017 comprised number of scholarly events including 28th DAAAM International Symposium on Intelligent Manufacturing and Automation, 11th International European DAAAM International Young Researchers’ and Scientists’ Conference, 6th DAAAM International Doctoral School, Activities of Internatinal Academy of Engineering – Central European Branch, Activities of Synergy Network and FESTO Corporation, and others.

Danube Adria Association of Automation and Manufacturing (DAAAM) is an international network for scientific, academic and industrial cooperation. The DAAAM International Vienna was founded based on the idea and initiative of Professor B. Katalinic, on November 5th, 1990 at the Vienna Symposium, in order to mark the 175th anniversary of the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien). The purpose of DAAAM International is to provide a world forum for engineers, scientists and industrial managers to present and discuss the current status and impact of advanced manufacturing and automation.

DAAAM International Doctoral School, founded by Professor B. Katalinic, is an educational structure focusing for PhD studies. It was responsible for providing participants with structured doctoral training in a disciplinary field. Participants, visited many workshops and universities and interacted with many domain experts.
