Early Invitation to Master's Programs at the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology at HSE University

HSE University is now accepting applications for the Early Invitation to Admission competition for the 2026 Master's program

The Early Invitation competition offers undergraduate and specialist degree graduates the opportunity to enroll in a master's program ahead of the main competition, bypassing the stress and hustle and bustle of summer and assessing their potential early. Successful applicants receive a personal invitation, which is equivalent to the maximum score on the entrance examinations.

Not only graduates of previous years but also students currently pursuing a bachelor's or specialist's degree can apply. To do so, please obtain a transcript from your grade book showing your grades for the courses you've taken from the academic department of your university.

The application process is extremely simple:

1. Submit an application: Complete the application form in your personal account by May 13th and attach your portfolio documents. After initial moderation, they will be sent for review.

2. Review: The Admissions Committee evaluates the candidate's portfolio according to the criteria and creates a ranked list of participants.

3. Result: The names of the winners, who will receive the coveted invitations, will be announced on May 29th.

If you are not a winner in the early stage, you can submit your portfolio during the main stage of admission. Participating in the competition provides valuable experience and an opportunity to receive feedback from program academic directors, who can provide recommendations for portfolio improvement.
