Ivan Antipenko, a 1st year Master's student, took 1st place in the Student Research Paper Competition held by HSE University
The Student Research Paper Competition is held annually at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE), allowing students from both HSE and other universities to participate.

Ivan's paper, titled “Effect of ELOVL5 Gene Knockdown in MDA-MB-231 Breast Cancer Cells on the Number of Secreted Small Vesicles and the Composition of MicroRNAs in Them,” won 1st place in the category “Best Research Paper in Natural Sciences by Master's Students and 2023 Graduates.”
The competition, detailed on the HSE website, is organised across 25 areas and consists of two stages: evaluation by independent experts and review by the subject commission.
