Abstract

This course explores issues around media economics, including media entrepreneurship, media management and bussiness strategies in the context of the rising digital economies. This course explores issues around media and online technologies including critical assessments of information society and network society theories, internet diversity in different countries, internet studies as an area of knowledge, internet histories, transformations of internet regulation, critical movements, such as digital disengagement, data activism.
