Teaching Quality Assessment

From its very inception, our University has always paid special attention to the quality of teaching. Getting feedback on how you assess the studied courses and the work of your teachers is an important part of quality evaluation. Programme leadership need to understand how successful individual courses are, and if their syllabuses should be modified. Teachers use evaluation results and recommendations to learn if the course requires adjustments and to plan its further development.  

The Teaching Quality Assessment has existed at HSE for many years already, but a new assessment procedure based on students’ feedback was introduced last year. Now, the assessment of teachers is hold after each module following completion of each course, while the impressions are still fresh in your memory. The procedure has become regular and mandatory for all HSE students.

You will have to fill in a special questionnaire in the LMS system and assess courses in which you have exams in this module. Please see Instructions on this page. It shouldn’t take longer than 5-10 minutes for you to fill in the form.

Heads of the faculty will appreciate your careful and responsible attitude to the questionnaire, as your participation will allow to better align the courses to your needs and interests. Please note that in accordance with HSE Internal Regulations, students’ participation in the Teaching Quality Assessment is an integral part of the educational process and is mandatory
