Master’s Programme 'Management Systems and Information Processing in Engineering'

No enrolment. You can apply to Master's in Systems Analysis and Mathematical Technologies

This programme aims to equip graduates with world class competencies in the development of the latest control and information processing systems. Students enjoy opportunities to take part in internships at leading Russian and global IT firms. The programme also trains researchers in mathematics and software for control and navigation systems, modeling systems for various types of human activity, data processing and transmission, information storage and protection systems, as well as ‘smart’ information and communication systems of various types.

On May 30th, the traditional HSE TechnoShow—the final exhibition of the best works by student teams during the 2021/22 academic year project cycle—took place in the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE). For the first time since the pandemic began, the festival was held offline. Visitors to the show included not only students and professors of HSE University, but also a wide variety of interested people.

A year ago, on March 22, 2021, at 9:07 Moscow time, a Soyuz-2.1a rocket with a Fregat upper stage was successfully launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome Site 31. The launch vehicle carried 38 satellites, including the CubeSX-HSE satellite developed through the joint efforts of experts and students from the HSE University Laboratory of Space Vehicles and Systems’ Functional Safety of the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (HSE MIEM) and Sputnix, a privately-owned space company.
