Practical Training of Students
The practical training in the degree programme “HSE University and Kyung Hee University Double Degree Program in Economics, Politics and Business in Asia” aims primarily to deepen the knowledge and skills acquired by the students during theoretical and practical classes, as well as develop the analytical and research skills. Participation in such practical training elements as Research and Pre-graduation Internships, Preparation of a Graduation Thesis contributes to the formation, consolidation, and development of practical skills and competencies according to the educational programme profile, including:
- carrying out an independent interpretation and a well‑founded assessment of various regional events, phenomena, and concepts in national, interregional, and global contexts,
- carrying out of methods of theoretical and empirical analysis, as well as applied analysis, in assessing and modeling regional, national, local, and other political and economic processes,
- ability to identify the data necessary to solve assigned management and entrepreneurial tasks, to collect and process the data,
- ability to organize and conduct scientific research, search for and monitor the necessary information in the field of activity using up‑to‑date information and communication technologies.
Internship Programme includes a description of the elements of the curriculum of the educational program, organized in the form of practical training and grouped in the “Practice” module of the curriculum.
The procedure for organizing and conducting the PTE of HSE students is regulated by the Regulations on Practical Training of Students under Core Bachelor's, Specialist's and Master's Programmes at HSE University.

Graduation Project
During the second year of studies, a student has the opportunity to choose one of the mandatory elements either a Graduation Project or a Graduation Internship.
The total credit units per student for Graduation Project are to be not less than 9 ECTS.
The examination of the reporting forms is conducted in the form of an exam with a 10-point scale. The exam is taken by the Graduation Project supervisor.

Graduation Internship
During the second year of studies, a student has the opportunity to choose one of the mandatory elements either a Graduation Internship or a Graduation Project.
Graduation Internship is to be taken during the second year of studies in 3rd module within any 6 weeks between mid-January and mid-March.
Interim examination of the Graduation Internship is carried out in the form of exam. The exam is carried by the Head of the Internship at HSE in the form of an assessment of internship documentation provided by a student. The rating is set on a 10-point scale.
Graduate Internship Programme
During the preparation and internship, the student must prepare the following information and prepare the necessary documentation:

Before the Graduation Internsip begins:
- Place of internship
- Individual Task, agreed with the Head of the internship at HSE
- Agreement with the organization or the Offer of the HSE/ Acceptance of the organization (when completing an internship in organizations external to the HSE)

During the first week of the GI:
- Confirmation of Providing Instructions at a Company to a Student (when passing an internship in external organizations)

After completing the GI:
- Internship report
- Review of the Head of Internship at the Organization/ Department of the Higher School of Economics with the recommended grade
