Emerging Markets of the BRICS Countries: China & Russia

The track lasts two years. Each student spends year 1 at the HSE before progressing to Shanghai for the first part of the second year.  The second part of the second year is optional for each student (each student can choose between Moscow and Shanghai).

On successfully completing the degree, all students will have attained 60 ECTS during each year of the Programme. HSE will award a full 120 ECTS Masters: MA in International Relations  and Special Diplomas and Language Certificates (Chinese and Russian) will be awarded from China and from Russia.

Prerequisites

All applicants should hold (or expect to obtain) an upper second class honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in a relevant subject area.

All students whose first language is not English must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programme e.g. ‘good’ level in accordance with the Programme Language Policy.

Fees

The EU (incl EEA-EFTA) fee for applicants for the academic term 2021/2022 is     per year. The International fee for students from outside of the EU (incl EEA-EFTA) for the academic term 2021/22 is €8,500 per year.
