Apply for CFA Institute Research Challenge competition
4-year bachelor students and master students are welcomed to apply for participation in CFA Institute Research Challenge competition. As a part of the HSE team, you will have an opporunity to gain hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics.
More than 30 russian universities, as well as universities of Belarus and Azerbaijan participated in the CFA IRC 2018/19. The HSE Team has consistently held high places at the Russian stage of the CFA IRC; it has repeatedly represented Russia at the international stages of the competition, including in Amsterdam, Chicago, Prague, Zurich.
Why to participate?
- put into practice the theoretical knowledge gained during your studies;
- go through all stages of investment analysis;
- meet representatives of different universitites and countries;
- improve your public speaking and teamwork skills.
How to know about the competition more?
On September 18 at 19:00 at Pokrovka campus, room M203 the HSE Team 2018/19 will meet with applicants, tell about their experience and answer questions.

How to apply
Please send the application by e-mail with the remark "CFA Insitute Research Challenge 2019/20" to bank@hse.ru before September 27, 2019.
The application package includes:
- CV
- Motivation letter: why it is important for you to participate and what value you add by your participation
- 3 slides with short analysis of any public company and recommendations to buy/to hold/to sell
If you are invited to the second selection stage, you will be interviewed by the Selection Committee:
- Shortly about yourself;
- Presentation of your short analysis of a company
Based on the selection results, a team of 5 students will be formed to represent HSE at CFA IRC 2019/20.
