IMF Work and Key Competencies of Economists: Meeting with Annette Kyobe

Banking institute invites you to attend the meeting with IMF Resident Representative in Russia Annette Kyobe as a part of the project "FinAnalysis.Meetups".

All together with Ms Kyobe we will discuss IMF work and what competences are required for economists in international organizations.

Annette Kyobe previously served as an assistant to the Director of the European Department focusing on euro area issues. She worked extensively on Emerging Markets in the Strategy and Policy Review Department. She has undertaken numerous other assignments, including in the Fiscal Affairs Department and working on Djibouti, Lebanon, Jordan, Poland, and Russia. 

Ms. Kyobe has published papers on a wide range of topics, including gender, fiscal policy, financial development, structural reforms, macroeconomic stability and international finance.

She holds a Ph.D. from the George Washington University in the United Sates and McGill University in Canada and joined the Fund in 2009.
