18.12 - lecture from Fedor Vassilyev, Head of “Cross-cultural Communication” Department on top three cultural aspects which didn’t help international business during the pandemic

HSE University continues a series of public discussions as part of the “Inspired by Your Bright Future: HSE Business Talk” project.

On December 18, Friday, at 7 pm (Moscow time) Fedor Vassilyev, Head of “Cross-cultural Communication” Department will talk about top three cultural aspects which didn’t help international business during the pandemic:

•  can we work together remotely as efficient as we used to depending on the cultural context?
•  how do we react to the uncertainties brought by the pandemic?
•  how do we analyze the incoming communication and why don’t we always understand what’s going on?

Dr Fedor Vassilyev is also an adjunct professor at the “MIB” programme and teaches the “World’s Business Cultures” course (http://amp.gs/aiHt). The project will be interesting to students, young professionals and all those involved in creating or running a business.
