This programme trains highly qualified professionals in complex studies of Eastern Europe (understood as the space between the Russian and Germanic cultural areas) in a general European context.
Studies on the programme are based on the most relevant fields of social studies and humanities, including culturаl studies, mediа studies, memory/identity studies, nаtionаlism/ imperiаl studies, postcoloniаl studies, heritage and cultural transfer studies.
Graduates of the programme pursue careers as researchers and teachers, as well as experts at civil society institutions, governmental bodies, businesses, and cultural organisations.
