This year, the Brevia team proposed a unique case concerning international sale of a business, helped the teams to prepare for hearings, and held the final of the competition. This year's distinctive feature of the moot court was the cross-examination of "witnesses" in the final round.

The arbitrators were Olga Tsvetkova, the Managing Partner of Brevia, Adam Nalgiev, a lawyer of the firm, responsible for the competition preparation, and Sergey Usoskin, the independent consultant on international disputes and practicing arbitrator.

Victor Radnaev, a partner at Brevia, also conducted a master class for master students concerning strategies for preparing and conducting cross-examination in international arbitration.

The students' presentations during the preliminary rounds were evaluated by professors, graduates of the program and invited legal practitioners in the field of international arbitration: Alena Ilchenko, Anastasia Burnakina, Anna Gavkalyuk, Anna Avdulova, Vladimir Goroshchenko, Konstantin Ksenofontov, Ksenia Kuritsyna, Yaroslava Branovskaya, Mikhail Blat, Andrey Buyankin, Tatiana Petrova, Vladislava Berlina, Ekaterina Svetlichnaya and Sergey Ivanov.
