Success of HSE University Faculty of Law Students at the International Competition“EAEU Dispute Resolution – 2025”

⚖️ The semifinal and final rounds of the “EAEU Dispute Resolution – 2025” competition took place on December 21–22, 2025, in Moscow. In the final round, the HSE University team earned an honorable second place (a video recording of the final round is available via the link). In total, 23 teams participated in the competition, representing all EAEU member states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.

 

🎓 The HSE University Faculty of Law team consisted of: Arseniy Volodin and Arseniy Podshivalov (3rd-year Bachelor’s students, Law program), Yuliya Popova (4th-year Bachelor’s student, Law program), and Darina Borzhovich (1st-year Master’s student, International Trade Law and Dispute Resolution program).

 

✔️ The team was coached by Aleksey Petrenko, Associate Professor of the Department of International Law, and Anastasia Burnakina, PhD student at the HSE Graduate School of Law.

 

🏆 The team won first place in the “Best Written Submission” nomination.

 

🥇 Darina Borzhovich received first place in the “Best Speaker” nomination.

 

🥈 Arseniy Podshivalov received second place in the “Best Speaker” nomination.

 

◾️ The judges of the competition included leading experts in EAEU law, among them representatives of EAEU bodies, public authorities, the academic community, and practicing lawyers.
