Exchanging experience with colleagues from the HSE Perm Campus for the development and implementation of various disciplines in English in undergraduate and graduate programs was the aim of the seminar.

A well-known sociolinguist, professor at the University of Essex (Great Britain), Peter Patrick taught the course “Globalization and Linguistic Diversity” for students of the Master's program “Language Policy in the Context of Ethnocultural Diversity” at the Higher School of Economics as a guest professor.
Expedition to Primorsky Krai
As part of the HSE “Rediscovering Russia” program, seven first-year graduate students spent a week in Primorsky Krai. The field expedition, held in Vladivostok, was aimed at studying multilingualism, value orientations, migration, local identity, family and state language policies of the region.
