Every March and April, the School of Foreign Languages (SFL) traditionally holds four student conferences. The conferences have much in common, but each of them still has their own history, traditions, and unique profile. While waiting for the student science marathon, we met with the organizers and asked them about the specific features of each conference and innovations for this year.
In late November, students from the School of Foreign Languages presented their research at the International Linguistics Conference for Students (StuTS).
Creativity, enthusiasm and, of course, a love for foreign languages are what make the bachelor’s and master’s students of Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication (FLaIC) so special. Polina Kochina graduated from the FLaIC bachelor's programme and is now working towards her master's degree. We asked her about her studies and how she spends her free time.
Galina N. Gumovskaya, Academic Supervisor of Masters Programme ‘Foreign Languages and Cross-Cultural Communication’, took part in the Second World Congress ‘East-West: the Intersection of Cultures’.
