Student Research Paper Competition 2022 Now Open at HSE University
The start of a new academic year is an excellent time to plan the next steps in your academic career. On September 1, HSE University announced the start of its annual Student Research Paper Competition (SRPC-2022). Participation is open to students of Russian and international universities and to 2022 graduates. Last year, a total of 2,196 papers were submitted to the SRPC, of which 435 were from external participants.
RusVectōrēs: A Yearly Report
RusVectōrēs is a web service for distributional semantics created at the School of Linguistics. The service allows users to play with distributional semantic models (a.k.a. word embeddings) right in the browser. Last year we added lots of new features, and we are happy to share the news with you.
Conference ‘Corpus Technologies, Digital Humanities and Modern Research’ Held at HSE Nizhny Novgorod
Today computer and corpora technologies play an important role in language studies and language learning along with traditional methods of analysis. New corpora resources and software for language analysis are regularly developed.
