HSE University’s Online Master of Business Analytics Offers New Opportunities
The English-language fully online Master of Business Analytics is offered by HSE University on Coursera in partnership with the AICPA Association. Working together with this association allows HSE University to significantly expand the range of educational options available within the master's programme. The first cohort will start their classes in September 2021.
The programme aims to train a new generation of finance leaders. According to Irina Ivashkovskaya, Head of the School of Finance and Head of the Corporate Finance Center, the programme graduates 'become experts in business analytics from the point of evaluating non-financial capital and modeling its contribution to the growth of business value. The programme curriculum takes into account the growing impact of digitalization and social factors in the financial ecosystem and strategic business reporting’.
Students of the open content Introduction to Value Based Analytics’ specialization track are eligible to receive a ‘Disrupting Technologies, Emerging topics in Finance’ certificate from AICPA free of charge. Students also have the opportunity to obtain an additional certificate from the AICPA entitled ‘Data Core Concept’, through a scholarship, with financial support covering up to 80% of the cost of training (about $320 of the total cost of $380).
The International Association AICPA is a partner of both the Coursera platform and the Master of Business Analytics programme. Since 1887 it has brought together more than 400,000 experts in business analysis and accounting.
On May 27, at 5:00 pm (Moscow time), a webinar of the programme ‘New trends in Professional Certification: Webinar AICPA Expert's View’ will be held at HSE University. Richard Staunton, Global Academic Partners, Association| AICPA| CIMA; Anna Howard, consultant of the Association| AICPA / CIMA; Anna Vysotskaya, Associate Professor, Executive Director Master of Business Analytics and Irina Ivashkovskaya, Head of the School of Finance and Academic Supervisor of the programme, will take part in the event. Webinar participants can learn how digital thinking and data analysis affect the field of finance and accounting and which professional certificates contribute to career development in these areas.
