Join us on Wednesday, December 9th at 7 pm, and we will discuss how modern machine learning is used in answering big physics questions, how ML experts could help physicists, and what ML enthusiasts may gain from natural science.
Our speaker is Fedor Ratnikov, a physicist and data scientist, who has contributed to 10+ international collaborations since 1990 and discovered the Higgs boson in 2012. Ratnikov is now a Senior Scientist at Yandex and HSE University.
