The project activity of students at the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" is of the main educational program of higher professional education and is carried out in accordance with the approved study plans and schedule of the educational process in order to acquire the skills of professional work by students, to deepen and consolidate the knowledge and competencies gained during theoretical studies.

The work experience internship of master's is carried out for acquisition of professional skills and experience of professional activity.
Period of the work experience internship
According to the curriculum, students of the 2nd year undertake the internship in the second semester of 2021/2022 study year.
According to the curriculum, a student should implement a "Consulting Project" with 8 credits during 2 years of study.
The list of projects is approved by the academic director of the educational program.
In the 1st semester, 1st year students take part in the project "Management consulting for an international company in the field of strategic business transformation" in group format.
The aim of the project: to offer an international company to the customer a program of actions to solve a management problem of a functional nature (for example, to create a system to attract talented young people from the market, to select and integrate them, to offer a system to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of sales channels, etc.). When performing these projects, students pay special attention to the role of digital technologies in solving certain tasks. The recommendations proposed by the teams of students are formalized in the form of a report and presentation and are defended to the representatives of the client company. The result of the student's work and the implementation of projects is the training of students in the training mode skills of interaction with business, building a road map of the project, its implementation and reflection on the skills and abilities that the student needs to improve in order to more effectively implement projects in the second year of study.
The project work provides an opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge and other professional skills to solve real world problems as part of a consulting team. Partnering with Industry, students will work with a company mentor and have the opportunity to pitch their solution to a panel of industry experts.
Project activities are monitored and regulated by the academic supervisor and the academic council of the program.
The project will be evaluated during the session week.
Failure to complete a project is considered an academic debt.
