A workshop on Team coaching

On 18th of March  master class on Team coaching by Talina Vengrzhanovskiy has passed.

Talina Vengrzhanovsky, Ph.D. - Executive & Team coach PCC level of the ICF, member of the Board of Directors of the ICF Chapter in Russia 2015/2016, a member of the ARC, RATA. Founder and head of Creative Thinking Institute. Director of leadership programs at the Association of law enforcement agencies, the Development Fund of Economics (Fishermen's Fund). Mentor, Executive coach in a number of companies. Managerial experience for more than 20 years in major Western and Russian companies. More than 700 hours of team and Executive coaching. Studied team coaching from David Clutterbuck (UK), Robert Dilts (USA), program MAY (Canada). 

Lecturer in the program "Psychology in business" in the areas of Executive and team coaching.

Team coaching is a professional partnership  between coach and team. This is one of the most popular business coaching specialization the market today. Team coaching is used to form a new team or develop an existing one, while working on projects for the formation of vision, mission, identifying team values.

On the master class the following points  were discussed:

• Development of team coaching as a professional activity.

• What are the distinguishes between team coaching and  facilitation.

• What queries are in the field of team coaching.

• When a group becomes a team.

• What do you need to know, to be able, how to be a coach working with teams.

• How is team coaching session constructed.

• How to build properly contract for the session. Who is the main customer?

• Who and what is the work in team sessions.

• What knowledge and tools let the coach to be effective in this area of coaching.

 After the theoretical material of T. Vengrzhanovsky shared her personal experience of successful team coaching sessions. Was conducted the analysis of practical business case studies of team coaching in a variety of areas: from banking sector to project team start up. Resolved questions: from coaching of creative thinking to building missions, identifying the values of the team, arising involvement of the team.

One of the main parts of the master class was the decision of practical tasks. The students tried themselves as members of a team coaching session, had a brief coaching interviews, have drawn the metaphor and values of their team.

At the feedback discussion, students noted the value of this master class – It was an opportunity to learn theoretical and practical part with a certified expert team coaching on the one hand, and the leader, using coaching on the other. It was also noted the importance of team coaching and the need to continue to deeply explore this demanded direction at the modern business.
