The process has gone! Business psychologists are preparing to work in a multi-cultural environment

The academic year of our program began with a master class "Peculiarities of relations in business in a multi-cultural environment."

This year, the Russian-British program Psychology in Business expands its boundaries. We continue to master the subtleties of business psychological support of international business. And our interests extend not only to Europe and Great Britain, but also to Asia. Therefore, the beginning of the academic year was marked by a magnificent workshop "Peculiarities of relations in business in a multi-cultural environment", conducted by mega-experts in their business Lyubov Sabinina and Fedor Vasiliev.

Lyubov Sabinina is the director of the Veon Group's Customer Experience Competence Center (formerly VimpelCom), which has 12 operational telecom companies in emerging markets (Bangladesh, Pakistan, Italy, Algeria, post-Soviet space, including the Russian Beeline brand). Lyubov implements in the Veon Group a centralized “Voice of the Client” program in 10 different markets in countries from all over the world. To work at this level, she studies languages ​​(already 4 European languages), cultures of peoples, communication rules, etc.

Fedor - struck his horizons and erudition in the field of intercultural communication. Having received an excellent education in London and Moscow (State Moscow University of African and African Studies), he worked on projects with representatives of the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, France, Germany, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom  Spain, Portugal, Czech Republic, Poland, China, India, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Uganda, Ethiopia, etc. Excellent  knowledge of languages: Hindi, Urdu, English, Russian helped a lot in this. In the company Business Speech, Fedor leads the directions: "Cross-cultural communication" and "Communication and Service".

Thanks to Fedor, the students got acquainted with the company Business Speech in more detail, which history can be an example for realization of ambitious ideas of business psychologists in the future. The company Business Speech was founded recently in 2013 by business trainer and writer Nikita Nepryakhin. But it has already become a leader in the market of Russian training organizations for the development of communication and management skills. In fact, this is an example of a business-psychological company. Business Speech actively develops such areas of business psychology as "Barriers to communication", "Conflict resolution", "Confident communication", "Counteraction to manipulation", "Intergenerational communication" and "Intercultural communication".

Lyubov and Fyodor presented their practical experience of working with representatives of other cultures, psychology of international interaction and various subtleties of design work in such an environment. Fedor presented the author's model for analyzing cross-cultural differences from the company Business Speech, as well as business cases from the practice of the Veon Group to various aspects of this model, manifested in cross-cultural interactions on the projects of the Veon Group.
