An achievement of the "Population and development" student at the essay contest "Step into profession"

Among the winners of the "Step into Profession” contest on the 25^th of December 2024 was a student of the "Population and Development" program.

On 25^th of December, 2024, the awarding of winners and prize-winners of the essay contest “A Step into Profession” took place. The event was held in the Interregional Control and Revision Department of the Federal Treasury. Students from different Russian universities took part in the contest. According to the results of the competition the 1st year student of the Master's degree program “Population and Development” Ezhova Maria won the 2nd place with an essay on the topic: “Application of artificial intelligence technologies in the implementation of internal state financial control: risks and prospects”. Supervisor: Larionov Alexander Vitalievich. The awarding was conducted by Larisa Vladimirovna Mudrova - Head of the Interregional Control and Audit Department of the Federal Treasury. The jury members also expressed their congratulations to the winners and prize-winners of the contest, noting the importance and prospects of studying the possibility of using artificial intelligence in the financial sphere. At the end of the awarding ceremony, the contestants had an opportunity to communicate with current experts, as well as to familiarize themselves with the department and the history of its creation.
