Results of the Student Research Paper Competition (SRPC-2025) Announced
Stephen Sodoke has won first prize in the 2025 Student Research Paper Competition.

Stephen Sodoke, a 2025 graduate of the Population and Development programme, has taken first place in the HSE Student Research Paper Competition in the category of Public and Municipal Administration. His award-winning thesis is titled "Understanding Subjective Perspectives on Energy Poverty in Urban Ghana: A Case Study of Kumasi."
The work is an extension of Stephen's master's thesis, which was supervised by Ilya Ermolin and reviewed by Alexander Larionov. In this category, Stephen outperformed peers from other HSE master's programmes in Public Administration, as well as students from universities across the Russian Federation.
