Master-class series «Interdisciplinary approach as a teaching method» by professor Rudolf Schüssler

On the week  November 07 - November 11 Professor Rudolf Schüssler of the University of Bayreuth, Germany held master-class series for the lectures of the master’s programme:« Philosophy, Politics, Economics».

The master-classes were arranged to demonstrate the possible patterns of the usage of the philosophical and ethical knowledge for the solution of the problems of politics and economics.  And vice versa, to demonstrate how economic and political theories may serve to resolve the problems of philosophy and ethics. In each of the master-classes some of the economic or political problems were represented as a problem of normative philosophy and the other way around.

Professor Schüssler is a unique specialist, educated in some of the best universities of Germany in the spheres of economics, sociology, and philosophy. His spheres of  interests are comprised of ethical theory and moral aspects of global problems, probabilistic reasoning,  business ethics, history of philosophy and science. His publications merge economics and philosophy, philosophy and political science and demonstrate the artificial nature of the borders between different branches of science.
