Program’s Student Leads Committee Discussions on Latin American Integration at Model United Nations Conference
Mateo Rojas Samper, a master's student of Politics, Economics, and Philosophy from the Higher School of Economics, made a mark at the Model United Nations of MGIMO Vitaly Churkin. He participated in the event as the Vice President of the ECLAC committee, where he guided the delegates to write their resolution on the Integration of Latin America in International Trade.
The End of the First Module
We congratulate students with the successful completion of the 1 st module of the 2022-2023 academic year. For some of you this was the first stage of studying both on a master’s program and at Higher School of Economics. For others – this is rather a pleasant annual tradition. ‘One Year of Combined-Track Studies Expands Students’ Research Horizons’

This year, there will be 75 places for Master’s students on the track—two thirds more than last year. Maxime Ladrière from Belgium has spent the last ten years between France, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Russia. Currently, he is working towards his second Master’s degree in the ‘Politics. Economics. Philosophy’ programme in the Faculty of Social Sciences at HSE University in Moscow.

People have already submitted their applications to Master’s and Bachelor’s programmes at HSE University. So far, students from 113 countries have expressed their interest in studying at HSE University. For the 2019/2020 academic year, HSE University is offering 10 Bachelor’s programmes and 31 Master’s programmes taught entirely in English. The strongest applicants will be eligible for full or partial scholarships. For Master’s programmes, applications will be evaluated on the strength of the portfolios that can be submitted online via an applicant’s personal account on HSE University’s website.
How International Students Can Receive Scholarships at HSE
HSE offers several scholarships that allow international students to cover part of their tuition fees in both undergraduate and graduate programmes. Scholarships are offered as a tuition discount for international students and take effect at the time of their enrolment in HSE. The scholarships are granted for the full period of studies.

The 8th Model ASEM took place in Myanmar and was held in conjunction with the 13th ASEM Foreign Ministers' Meeting (ASEM FMM13). Our second year student of the Master’s Programme “Politics. Economics. Philosophy” Martin Inderhaug participated this event.
Admissions Made Easy for International Students: 2018/2019 Academic Year
On November 15, international student admissions for undergraduate and Master’s programmes opened. This year, prospective students can apply to two programmes simultaneously. They’ll be able to track the application process online in their personal profile on the HSE website where they will receive notifications on the stages of their application’s review and decisions by the admissions committee. The documents for visa invitation can also be submitted there.
By Way of Italy, Norwegian Student Lands at HSE
Like many international students who choose to study at the Higher School of Economics, Martin Inderhaug, a native of Bergen, Norway, boasts a rich background marked by a diverse set of interests. Although he has been at HSE for only six months since enrolling in the Master’s programme in Politics, Economics and Philosophy, his interest in Russia goes back to his days serving in Norway’s military in the country’s far north where he would gaze at the ‘unknown East’ across the border with Russia.
