The End of the First Module

We congratulate students with the successful completion of the 1 st  module of the 2022-2023 academic year. For some of you this was the first stage of studying both on a master’s program and at Higher School of Economics. For others – this is rather a pleasant annual tradition. We wish you all good luck in the exam week from the 24 th -29 th  of October! Don’t forget to praise yourself for your hard work before the start of the 2 nd  module, which is expected to be no less fruitful and fascinating!

Project seminar "Empirical research in Social science"

Since the end of September, within the framework of the master's program “Politics. Economics. Philosophy” of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, we launched a project seminar, conducted by the staff of the Institute for Industrial and Market Studies (IIMS) and the International Center for the Study of Institutions and Development (ICSID). The peculiarity of this course is that the subject of each seminar is associated with one of the projects of the Institute implemented during the current year. Anton Kazun, Yuliya Rodionova, as well as postdocs Amanda Zadorian and Milos Resimic organize the joint course.

Bachelor’s programme ‘Political Science’ and Master’s programmes ‘Applied Politics’ and ‘Politics. Economics. Philosophy’ have been granted international accreditation by Central Evaluation and Accreditation Agency (ZEvA), based in Hannover, Germany.

Research Paper Competition Winners Can Get a Headstart on Their Academic Careers

The application period for HSE’s Student Research Paper Competition has started. The winners will have an opportunity to take part in workshops on academic skills development, while those in state-financed studies will improve their chances of seeing their academic scholarships increased. Also, in addition in HSE students, learners from other academic institutions are eligible for this competition.
