Irina Semenenko is scientific supervisor of expert network on identity and coordinator of research committee on identity at Russian Political Science Association, member of the editorial council in Russian scientific journals: Полис. Политические исследования and Человек. Сообщество. Управление. Also she is a member of Russian Political Science Association governing council and member of expert council of Russian scientific foundation. Her scientific interests connected with issues of identity conceptualization as a resource for social development; methodology of the analysis of current political and socio-cultural changes; trends in the socio-cultural dynamics of Russia in the twentieth century - beginning of the XXI century; social and political development of modern Italy; interest groups as subjects of public policy (EU and Russia), ethno-national relations and regulation of ethno-political conflicts.
