Contributing to the Human Rights - With Our Own Hands

International students that are coming to enroll in our Programme at HSE to study the human rights analysis do not want only to gain knowledge during the lectures and seminars with the visiting leading experts, but they also strive to plunge into the real social practices and want to get first-hand experience of working with people whose rights are violated.

Contributing to the Human Rights - With Our Own Hands

HSE student from Ghana Ameworwor Hillary has found himself a practice of working for the Moscow branch of the Red Cross. In the interview for the TV Programme "Zadelo" he described how they work with the refugees, pick and distribute necessary clothes, how they organize hot meals and how the interaction with other volunteers has modified his attitude to Russia.

"All volunteers that we are working with, - says Hillary, - are open-minded and friendly people. Helping other people and seeing how thankful and grateful they are is a great pleasure."

Concluding the interview, the Host proposed to the audience: "Follow the example of the African student of HSE - join the volunteer movement!"
