Professor Alberto Eugenio Ermenegildo Pirni of Sant’Anna University, Pisa, Italy, visited the Department of Public Policy as a guest lecturer for the Project Seminar class, on 30th of September, 2019. Alberto Eugenio is also the coordinator of the research area in Public Ethics in the Institute of Law, Politics and Development at the Sant’Anna University and is a visiting professor at NRU-HSE, St. Petersburg.

On October 3rd and 4th Zorica Skakun, a gender coordinator for Oxfam GB in Yemen who provides support and leadership to ensure women's rights, presented two workshops on various aspects of violence against women for students of the programme "Political Analysis and Public Policy".
As part of the Global Political Economy course, on the 5th of April Mr. Nandan Unnikrisnan the Vice President of the Observer Research Foundation in India was invited to deliver a lecture on emergence of India in the global arena, the economic challenges India faces with development and how those challenges are reflected in the making of India's foreign policy
The Department of Public Policy on 23rd March 2018, organized a public lecture on 'National laws and the Global Economy: Role of The World Bank' in the promotion of legal Reforms delivered by the Rector of University of Turin, Professor Gianmaria Ajani. The lecture was held in the framework of the series of the Public lectures and discussions in the Global Political Economy course
The 19th April 2017 the students of the class Human Rights in Non-Western societies were honoured by a guest lecture by Alexander Verkhovsky, a leading authority on ultra-nationalism in the Russian Federation, public activist and director of the SOVA Center for Information and Analysis.
The week long International Winter School on Human Rights got organized in the Forli Campus of University of Bologna from 9th -13th of January 2017. A unique yearly project jointly initiated by Prof. Nina Yurievna Belyaeva, from the Higher school of Economics along with her illustrious partner from the University of Bologna ( Italy most notably Prof Marco Balboni and Prof Carmello Danisi ) and International Institute of Human Rights ( Rene Cassin Foundation, Strasbourg).
Public Policy Department Winter School 2016 was as usual a great avenue to meet prospective students, share with them all the interesting academic and non-formal activities in the department. The two days power-packed and intensive activity of teaching and learning will be an unforgettable experience for the all the prospective students as the various professors from the department presented various topics to them.

From May 30 to June 19 students can vote for HSE’s best teachers of the academic year. This year students and alumni can submit their scores online. You can choose your candidate from the faculty list — no more than two lecturers and two teachers conducting workshops or practical training — in LMS module ‘Rate Your Courses’ right after the required assessment of your teachers and courses. If your candidate is not on the list, you can indicate him or her in the ‘Other teacher (specify full name)’ category. In addition to recognition, the best teachers will also receive a bonus.If you study at ICEF or HSE-NES, please find the link for voting in your email.You can also write a letter to your 'chosen' teacher.
