MASNA Online Workshop 'How to analyze a network of your friends with social network analysis'

We will explain how networks are connected to reality, explain a few basic concepts and show how to build a network of friends on VKontakte.

After the workshop, you will have an idea:
– about the process of building network data
– on the use of digital methods for the purposes of social sciences and network analysis (a little about Python and the VK API)
– about metrics (degree, centrality) and Gephi Lite.

In addition, Ivan Klimov, Academic Supervisor of MASNA, and Irina Pavlova, Deputy Head of ANR-Lab, will talk about the features of the Master's programme, admission and education process, and answer questions from applicants.
