The three-day intensive course was dedicated to introducing data analysis and applied statistics for beginning researchers and analysts.

On the first day, participants covered theoretical foundations: the history of statistics, measurement scales, data formats, and a comparison of R and Python tools. A separate section was devoted to critical data analysis—how graphs and numbers can be misleading and what statistical illusions are common in the work of beginning analysts.

The second and third days were devoted to practical training. Participants mastered the basics of Python and the Pandas library: working with dataframes, exploratory analysis, and basic visualization. A similar practical section was then completed in R, covering syntax, data types, importing from various formats, and building initial visualizations for insight discovery.

A video recording of the intensive course is available here.
