MASNA new academic year

The third week of the new MASNA academic year has passed. New program tracks, a new seminar format and the 4th stream of the MA in Applied Statistics with Network Analysis.MASNA is growing and expanding: despite the epidemic and quarantine that hit the entire field of offline education, MASNA opened its doors to 25 freshmen of the 4th stream, five of them are international students.

This year, MASNA opened new specializations: in addition to the network analysis track, you can now study on the business analytics track or on the computational social sciences track (PhD track). The Phd track is led by Associate Professor Dmitry Zaitsev, a Leading Researcher at ANR-Lab, and the business analytics track – by Operational Analysis and Reporting Development Specialis in Japan Tabacco Intrnational Elena Beilina, a graduate of the first MASNA stream. 

The online learning format, which ended the last module of the previous academic year, has taken root and has shown its effectiveness. Therefore, in this academic year, we offer our students a choice: attend seminars and lectures offline or connect online. All classes are held in the HSE classrooms and simultaneously stream through Zoom.
