New Seminar Series 'The Dynamics of Science Diplomacy: Bridging Pragmatism and Idealism'
Science diplomacy has become an integral part of not only the global scientific community's agenda but also of the national science and foreign policies. However, recent years have put the very concept of science diplomacy to the test. While some scholars and practitioners speak about the collapse of science diplomacy, others see the concept being reborn.
In this spirit, and with the goal of creating a vibrant international community of emerging scholars in science diplomacy, we are pleased to announce the launch of the New Seminar Series.
The seminar's primary goal is to provide a supportive platform for students who are preparing academic articles or theses on science diplomacy. Participants will have the opportunity to present their work-in-progress, receive structured feedback from experts and peers, and engage in rich, interdisciplinary discussions that bridge international relations, political science, history of science, and public policy.
