Students Internships

Practical training is a form of educational activity during studies under a given degree programme, with learners completing certain types of tasks, related to their future professional activities and aimed at building, consolidating, and developing practical skills and competencies specific to the respective degree programme. The goals and objectives of practical training shall be attained through the implementation of PTEs. Practical training for HSE University students shall be implemented either as part of the “Internship” module under a DP curriculum.

On the Master’s Programme 'Prototyping Future Cities' the internship is carried out on the 2nd year of study as the production (science and research) internship. It is regulated by the Internship Syllabus and includes the following practical training elements:

Julia Baistrukova, student of intake 2018/2020 told us about her experience in the Economic Commission for Europe of the United Nations. UNECE is a regional organization Economic and Social Council of the United Nations. The Commission was established in 1947 to promote economic cooperation between the member countries of the Commission. Together with European countries the organization includes the United States, Canada, Turkey, Israel, the former Soviet republics of Central Asia. UNECE is headquartered in Geneva.
