Nina Ladinskaya took part in a workshop at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics and made a report

The Research Assistant at the HSE Center for Language and Brain, Nina Ladinskaya attended the 3-day workshop Many Paths To Language (MPAL 2020), organised by the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen, The Netherlands on October 21-23, 2020. She represented her study Acquisition of noun case inflections by Russian monolingual and Russian-English bilingual children (PDF, 1.87 Мb).
The workshop took place for the first time online, due to the epidemiological situation in the world. This 3-day online workshop focuses on differences in the way children acquire language. The participants discussed multiple sources of variation in early language development: children’s linguistic and cultural environments, their cognitive maturation, the structural properties of the languages they are acquiring.
