Research

The Center for Language and Brain (HSE University) is a leading Russian centre in the fields of psycho-, neuro-, and clinical linguistics. The Center’s work integrates fundamental research, applied developments, and educational programmes. Using experimental and neuroimaging methods, its staff study the speech of children and adults, as well as the mechanisms of language processing in monolinguals and bilinguals. Based on scientific data, the researchers develop tools for diagnosing, predicting, and treating speech disorders. The Center actively collaborates with leading medical institutions and both Russian and international universities.
