Online Winter School: Analyzing Eye Movements While Reading

An online winter school on the analysis of eye movements while reading took place at the Center for Language and Brain on 23 November to 10 December 2020. The School was organized by Anna Laurinavichyute (Junior Research Fellow, Center for Language and Brain) and Olga Parshina (Research Fellow, Center for Language and Brain). The School was held online and gathered 22 participants, primarily research assistants and volunteers of the Center for Language and Brain, as well as students working on course papers and theses using eye tracking. The School included hands-on workshops on eye tracking measures and statistical models used in studies of eye movements while reading. One of the workshops provided a hands-on example of analysis of eye movement data from the child version of the Russian Sentence Corpus.
