HSE Perm’s Cultural Space is Growing

HSE Perm and the Perm Tchaikovsky Opera and Ballet Theatre have signed a cooperation agreement which was simultaneously a progress report and the beginning of a new stage in their working relationship.

The agreement proposes creating an innovative cultural-educational space for open lectures, master classes, dramatic evenings, meet the artist events and for educational and academic research projects.

The Director of the Perm campus, Galina Volodina says that this agreement is both the beginning of a new phase and a progress review because the HSE has actually been working closely with the theatre for a long time.  Last year they set up the Musical Box club where students get together to talk about new shows at the theatre and meet the musicians, soloists and conductors. HSE has its own choir, Superius, lead by Anastasia Egorova, a soloist with the MusicAeterna orchestra.

Galina Polushkina, Executive Director of the Perm Theatre said that the agreement is particularly important for the theatre because the HSE is cultivating new audiences who are engaged and receptive which helps the theatre to move forward and develop successfully with the times.

Galina Polushkina is sure that, after signing this agreement, students and teachers at the HSE will find a huge area for research has opened up to them.
