1st place
in sailing was the HSE team’s achievement at the 29th Moscow Student Sport Games, which were held on September 25 at the Klyazminsky reservoir. The HSE team scored 60 points in the regatta.
The team from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology took second place(45 points), and the team from Moscow State University took third place with 44 points. Twenty-four yachts representing nine Moscow universities took part in the event.
This is the second victory in a row for the HSE sailing team.
HSE students Marina Kravchenko and Daria Startseva took gold and silver in the individual championship among women.
The history of sailing at HSE started with the MIEM sailing school, which was founded more than 40 years ago and continues to operate to this day. The HSE yacht club is located in Strogino.
