During the visit, it was apparent that there is strong demand in Vietnam for Russian education (both in English and in Russian) and great interest in creating long-term partnerships. Double-degree programmes and summer courses in Vietnam were discussed as possibilities in the near future.

This is HSE’s second visit to Vietnam in 2016. In April 2016, a HSE delegation met with the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City over the course of a week. HSE will continue to build relationships with Vietnamese higher education institutions and organizations with the anticipation of increased cooperation in the coming years.
