2018 Intercampus Futsal Tournament
On April 14 and 15, the HSE Football Cup 2018, an intercampus futsal tournament, took place in St. Petersburg. Five teams came together from across the HSE campuses to fight to be crowned champions. The guests of the championship didn’t forget the cultural programme: they walked, attended excursions, and enjoyed some great weather.
Alexander Ugriumov, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Training, HSE campus in St. Petersburg:
‘The HSE campus in St. Petersburg is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2018. The student sports club, the Office of Extracurricular Activities, and the Department of Physical Training all contributed to the celebration of this anniversary. Thanks to the enthusiasm of these departments, it was possible to organize a great student sports event, HSE Football Cup 2018, an intercampus futsal tournament. During the two days, the best futsal players, the cheerleaders, and the fans were ‘sorting things out’ on the court, networking after the games, and enjoying the sights of one of the world’s most beautiful cities. The students from Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Perm, and St. Petersburg had a great weekend. Regardless of the results on the pitch, all the guests took home some unforgettable impressions. Everyone was in a great mood and the main thought was to meet again as soon as possible.
