Academic Council Approves Tuition Fees for HSE Programmes

The HSE Academic Council has approved tuition fees for undergraduate and graduate programmes for incoming students in 2019.

In 2019, HSE will open admissions for 54 undergraduate programmes in Moscow. For 29 of them, the cost of attendance will range from 350,000 to 400,000 roubles per year; for the other 20 programmes, the cost will range from 430,000 to 550,000 roubles. The cost of attendance for five double-degree programmes of HSE and the University of London will range from 620,000 to 770,000 roubles per year.

In 2019 HSE is launching a number of new bachelor's programmes, including Chemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biotechnologies, Urban Planning, Computer Security, Russian Studies, Classical Studies, Languages and Literature of Southeast Asia, Japanese Language and Literature, and Assyriology.

HSE Moscow will offer 129 master’s programmes in 2019. For part-time programmes, the cost of attendance will be 270,000-300,000 roubles per year; for full-time programmes, the cost of nearly 80 master's programmes will be 370,000 roubles, and for the other programmes it will range from 300,000 to 450,000 roubles per year.

Ten new master’s programmes will be launched in the new academic year: Transport Planning, Digital Logistics and Supply Chain Management, HR Analytics, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology LawRussian Studies, Multi-platform Film Production, International News Production, Digital Humanities, Classical and Oriental Archaeology, and Curating Contemporary Art.

Please note that HSE traditionally offers prospective students a flexible system of discounts for fee-paying education for both bachelor's and master's programmes. Rules on discounts and the criteria for receiving them will be later approved by the HSE Academic Council.

International admissions are already open. For most programmes, early bird applications are eligible for full-tuition scholarships. Information on admission requirements and process is available here. International students can apply online.

How Will the New Academic Year Start for International Students?
