The HSE University Business Incubator has started accepting applications for the HSE Startup Cup. The competition, which is being held for the fourth time, has become a large-scale event for the best student startups from all of the university’s campuses. Participants of the competition have the opportunity to launch a startup and receive financing for their projects.

According to Nina Feodosiadi, Head of the HSE Business Incubator, the HSE Startup Cup makes a major contribution to the development of business competencies in early-career entrepreneurs.

‘This year, the competition promises to be bigger due to the participation of all four HSE University campuses: Moscow, St Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Perm. Over the last three years, more than 1,200 participants have taken part in the competition for the chance to implement their ideas in a working and competitive startup. We invite anyone interested to participate in this community, which was created with the aim of uniting entrepreneurs who value a shared environment.’

Elena Kharykina, Head of the HSE Startup Cup project, explained the benefits of the competition for participants. She also stressed that this is an excellent opportunity for students to get support for their startups at the university.
