DASS Webinar "Network Intelligence: How the Optics of Network Analysis Helps to Find Out What People Think, What Influences It, and What It Leads To"

Event ended

On July 15 at 18:30 there will be an open day of the Master's program "Data Analytics and Social Statistics", where ANR-Lab Junior Research Fellow Artem Oganyan will talk about the methodology of network analysis.

At the webinar, we will discuss how network methodology allows us to uncover patterns in people's thinking and behavior. You will learn:
  • How sociology and psychology use network analysis to study opinions, beliefs, and their dissemination.
  • What ideas and methods underlie this approach and how they have developed over time.
  • How modern research applies network analysis to real data – from ideas themselves to experimental social data.
The seminar will be of interest to those who want to understand how connections between people shape their views, how these views can be interconnected with each other, and what consequences these views have for individuals and groups. We also hope that the seminar will help you generate ideas for your own research in this conceptual framework on the DASS program.
